Hi All,
We have just bought TCS2 and are in the process of trying to set up how to create our required help outputs, one of which is JavaHelp 1.1.3. However, although the RoboHelp online help mentions details of the settings for JavaHelp, we can't see it included as an available output in the Single Source Layouts output pod. How/what do we have to do to enable the JavaHelp output option to be available?
Another (related) question. The RoboHelp 8 help states that for JavaHelp output you need to have installed: Sun Java 2 SDK or later, JavaHelp 1.1.3 or later and java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.2.2 or later. We've managed to download JRE OK, but Sun/Java state that Java 2 SDK is End of Life, so is the latest Java (SE 6, I think) OK/compatible?
Many thanks for any help.
Regards - Steve Whalley

Hi Steve.
JavaHelp is not included as one of the SSL out of the box as it is so rarely used these days. It has severe limitations. You can create a new SSL by right clicking in the SSL pod and then selecting New Layout. Then select the JavaHelp output type. As far as getting the help to work, Peter Grainge has an article on his site that covers most of the basics. You can find it here.
