Robohelp 9 with PushOK Source Control

New Here ,
Jan 20, 2012 Jan 20, 2012

We recently upgraded our machines to 64 bit win7. I the process, we also updated Robohelp from 7 to 9.  On our previous machines we used Robosource 3.1 as the source control.

We have a substantial Robohelp project and I copied the files over to my new machine and opened it in RH9. It converted over without issue and seems to work well.

However, When I try to add the project to PushOk Source Control, it will not see PushOk and only offers RS 3.1.  I followed  the directions from found here from Aditi Roongta to install robohelp_subversion.  I verified that PushOK SVNSCC plugin is listed in the registry as an Installed SCC Provider. In fact, it is the only source control provider listed in the registry.

So my questions: Why does my RH9 project keep only suggesting RS 3.1 when it is not even installed on my machine? And, How do I remove RS 3.1 and get it to recognize PushOK?

Hi,

Seems you have installed PushOk SVN 64-bit installer. You need to install 32-bit installer of PushOk SVN to integrate with RoboHelp. Once you install it on 64-bit machine, you shall see its registry entry in HKLM > software > Wow6432Node > SourcecodeControlProvider > InstalledSCCProviders.

Similarly, if RoboSource Control is installed on your machine, its registry entry will show up at the above registry location.

Please let us know your findings.

Thanks,

Aditi Roongta
