I've imported a glossary .GLO file into my project, but it doesn't display terms. Has anyone else had problems with this?

Hi Rick. Thanks for responding. Yes, I believe I'm selecting the correct file. I double checked to make sure it had the glossary terms before importing the file. Just wondering if there a project settings required of some type. Thanks for you help. Sheila

Hi again
So when you examine the Glossary editor, you see the terms there?
If so, you might then scrutinize the output settings as well as exactly what you are looking at that says they aren't populating. Perhaps you are looking at an old version of the help. (hey, it happens to the best of us!)

We just found an issue with the Glossary, as well, but not with it not displaying in the Glossary pod, rather the definition does not display in the topic. Some do and some don't, no ryhme or reason that I have figured out yet.
The term and definition appear in the pod. You select the term and drag it to the topic. It looks fine in WYSIWYG and in the HTML it looks the same as any other definition, however, when you view it all you see is the term. No expanding text like other defintions. If we add a new definition it works just fine after drag and drop, but it's about 70% of the terms that were already there that are having the issue. When you click on the definition after you drag it to the topic the text in the expanding box says: Error: Term and Definition not found in default glossary. We are only using 1 glossary so it is the default glossary.
I opened the .glo in notepad and it's formated correctly with terms and definitons between the correct codes. I don't see any differences between the "good" terms and the "bad" terms.
Has anyone else encountered this error?
Regards,
Cindy

Well, I have figured out what the issue was causing the definitions to appear in the glossary, but not in the topic after you drag it over. Apparently some terms had a space after the last letter. After removing the space from the end of the term, the definitions in the topic display the definiton. Best of all, I didn't need to drag and drop the terms again, the error of not finding the default glossary was resolved in all the terms once the extra space was removed.

Cindy
