Hi! I'm facing an issue when selecting an image file to enclose in the <fig> tag. In process of updating an image file, the RoboHelp tool is taking very long to display the files in the directory and upload the selected file.

Image dialog box and Select Image File dialog box are responsive. And, after a while, either one of them starts crashing (Not responding message).

Moreover, after the image is selected, when I proceed to resize. It doesn't happen in one go. I had to close the dialog box and open it again to do that.

I can't recall what the last patch was for RH2019, but you should check to see if you have any updates available. Does this issue happen when you play with the sample project?

Which version of Robohelp are you using? Include the full version number including patches. If you are using RH2019, please also indicate if you are using Classic or New UI. Please include this information in every post as answers can be very different based on the version.

Also, where is your project located? Is it on your C drive, on a network share, cloud storage like OneDrive or an external hard disk? If it is anywhere except your C drive, you may be experiencing network slowness. To confirm this can you try doing the same task using one of the sample projects. You should find them in your Documents folder under My Robohelp Projects. If they are not there, you can copy them from the Robohelp installation directory. DO NOT try to run them from Program Files as there are security precautions on that folder which will cause errors.

I've been using RoboHelp Classic 2019 (14.0.2.016).

My project was located in D drive. But after your suggestion, I had it copied to My RoboHelp Projects folder in My Documents (C drive). However, the issue persists.

Thank you!

I tried the same thing with the sample project. It is working fine.

Also, there were updates so I've updated my RoboHelo to 14.0.14. Now there has been some improvement. 🙂

Thanks @Jeff_Coatsworth & @Amebr
