Dear All,
I am a quite new user of RoboHelp and I am particularly interested in the tool's reporting capabilities. I need to be able to report the most opened articles, the most searched articles, and the most searched keywords.
Going through the out of the box reports, I didn't find any report that could satisfy 100% these requirements, so, do you know if it is possible to report the list of the most opened, searched topics and Keywords?
Many thanks in advance
Vajk

Hi there
Indeed, the reports that are part of the RoboHelp product will not be helpful to you at all for this. These reports are for project management. You are looking for reports that are generated based on usage AFTER you have produced the content.
For that, you could use Google Analytics. And that requires adding some additional code to each topic in your project.
Another way to gain insight is by investing in the additional product known as RoboHelp Server. This is a separate product you acquire, give to your web admin peeps, have them install it, then you create output from RoboHelp and publish that output to the RoboHelp Server. The server component then presents the content and keeps track of many of the things you are looking for.
Cheers... Rick

Hi There,
we are working with Vajk on this project and still we are looking for reporting option in robohelp.
So is it possible to report:
- Create inventory of folders and topics with info when were topics modified?
- create a report based on a word and get where it is used?
Thank you, Zsombor

Not by design but I wonder if this would be acceptable? In Project Settings add something like "Changed in Version nn" to the To Do list, then whenever you update a topic go to Topic Properties and select that option. Tools > Topic Properties has options and you can select To Do if not already selected. Copy the report into something like Word or a text editor and use the search there. Not ideal but it works.
- create a report based on a word and get where it is used?
That is not an option via the RoboHelp reports. I would create an output and then use some sort of search tool such as Ultra Search that will generate a list of all files containing the required word.

If a report is not essential, then the Topic List can be configured to sort by Modified Date.

Hello Peter,
that is what we thought.
We just wanted to be sure that there is no such a solution for sure.
Many thanks for your help!

Hi, Zsombor!
As Rick mentioned, Adobe RoboHelp Server 10 may provice exactly what you need. There are many Feedback Analytics reports produce covering many of the items you mentioned in your post (most read articles, Keyword search terms, etc.)
This is an "add-on" product that works with your existing RoboHelp authoring tool to produce Feedback Analytics. There are many other benefits as well. I conducted a Webinar with Willam van Weelden that explains much more about this in detail. You can view a recording of it for free by registering at this URL: Adobe RoboHelp Server 10
Hope this helps.

Thank you John!
That would be good for now if we could export the topic list like this:
