Hello, I am new to robohelp and seeking help to clarify the robohelp system requirements. It is not very clear in the robohelp documentation if Tomcat is a mandatory requirement for robohelp to function. Can I use robohelp server with only IIS without Tomcat?

Thanks much

Alan

Hi, Alan

Yes, Tomcat is required. In previous versions to RoboHelp Server 11, there was a way to have Tomcat redirect to IIS. However, my understanding is that Apache (the open-source of Tomcat) no longer supports that arrangement. You will want to call Adobe Tech Support to clarify your own system needs.

See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. I'd recommend using the tcssup@adobe.com e-mail address as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp/RoboHelp Server.
