Screen Tips - Display Time

Greetings,

Using RX7 to create a project which has images and uses screen tips to explain fields.

The tip displays for approximately 10 seconds; is it possible to have the tip display for a longer period? If so, how?

I think you'll find that each application has it's own hard coded tooltip display value (IE is 5 secs, Office is 20 secs, etc.). You may be able to mimik a longer toolip using a javascript but I'm afraid my knowledge is not sufficient in this area to advise further. Try looking through some of the Javascript sites.

Unlike Colum, I've never considered the duration to be controlled by the application. I suppose it's entirely possible. I've always figured it was just a built in function of the operating system.
