Search doesn't find the chinese words

Hello All,

I authored help in Chinese using Robohelp 8 for word. I generated output as well. The problem is it does not search chinese words. I get topic not found. I understand RohoHelp 8 for word doesnt support chinese though i could author and publish it except for search.

Later, I created help using Robohelp 8 HTML which supports Chinese Language (Project Settings > Default Language (Chinese) ), but surprisingly even this is not searching Chinese words. If i search English words it works fine. Can anyone help me with this please.

Has this issue been addressed in RH 9?  Would Adobe be willing to explain why they support chinese language for authoring and publishing but it's own help search does not function with the simplified chinese language set?

You best ask Adobe directly. As this is a user community there is no way we can answer questions directed at Adobe. And Adobe doesn't moniter the forum (although some Adobe employees devote their own time to these forums) so you are not likely to get an answer here.
