Search Results in RH8

The default results in a search in RH8 comes up in 2 columns, one on the left with titles(w/ text underneath toggled on or off) and a column on the right which ranks the files in some priority order. Is there a way to remove the rankings altogether, AND turn off the 2 column format, so that the results are just the names of the files found in the search?

Hi Jim

Sorry, but it would appear there is no optioin we have that governs this.

About the best you can do is to disable the "Show Context in Search Result". But that doesn't remove the ranking.

You may wish to suggest it as an option.

It's been over a year since your post here, but in the event that you might still want to know about a work-around for at least hiding the Rank column until such time that some of our requested options may be added to the Search results in RoboHelp, here's a link to the thread that contains the information.
