Searching within external documents

I used to work with RoboHelp Server in the past, but it's too long time ago...

Does RoboHelp Server allow to perform searches within documents (.pdf, .doc, etc.) that are stored outside of the RoboHelp project (not included as baggage files) and only linked to the project using a link in the TOC?

If it's the case, can it search within documents that are stored in document management systems (like Livelink or SharePoint)?

Hi Martin.

The latest version, RoboHelp Server 9, supports searching of external documents of the types you mention, but they must be placed on the server in the location where the RoboHelp project output is placed. It can not be on a SharePoint or LiveLink server.
