Spell check marking correct words as misspelled

New Here ,
Jan 02, 2011 Jan 02, 2011

Running Robohelp 8 with rev 8.0.2.208.

Spell check marks words as misspelled when they are not. Common words like click, constraint, relay, and grid.

When I check the RH dictionary (US English) the words are all there, but still marked as misspelled in the topics.

Anyone else run across this, or have any ideas? Same behavior on both Win XP and Win 7.

Welcome to our community, Dan

If you click File > Project Settings > General tab, what language is configured for the project?

Out of curiosity, how exactly did you check the dictionary to ensure the words were there?

Cheers... Rick

Rick,

Thanks for the quick reply. Language is English (US). To check the entries:

Tools > Spelling Options > User Dictionary > Modify. Though now that I look, I

see that is the User Dictionary.

Even so, since the system chooses the dictionary based on the selected langauge,

I would think that words like mouse, button, hover, and menu would be included

in the dictionary.  All of these are listed as misspelled words.

Just in case, I added some of the 'misspelled' words to the dictionary. Still no

joy.

Any advice greatly appreciated.
