Subkeywords not indented in .chm index

Explorer ,

I have a longstanding help file that I have compiled as Win4 Help (.hlp) countless times. The Index formats nicely with keywords on the left margin and subkeywords indented beneath their respective keywords. When I compile this same help as Microsoft HTML Help (.chm), the keywords in the Index format as expected, but the subkeywords do not indent beneath their respective keywords. Instead, the keyword plus a colon appears before each subkeyword.

For example,

Reports
Detail
Summary

appears as

Reports
Reports: Detail
Reports: Summary

Yuck!

I hope someone out there can lead me to a solution. I'm using RoboHelp x5.0.

Thanks!

I have a similar problem with the generation of indexes.

I have been using RoboHelp for Word X5 to generate HTML Help with no problems. However, I've upgraded to RoboHelp 7, and the indexes now generate as one level rather than two. For example:

Integer
1
2

is generated as

Integer
Integer:1
Integer:2

This is a show stopper and I'm going to have to uninstall RH 7 and return to RH X5 if I cannot figure out a work around. Adobe have been looking into it for a while, but no joy yet.

Any help would be very welcome.
