Substituting Captions for Figure Numbers in a .chm

I am using X5 to create a chm from a Framemaker 9 file. I would like to have the caption text appear in the generate

d chm instead of the figure numbers,  For instance if the caption below a figure reads Fig 2. XYZ Screen and the xref in the xref in the text reads see Fig 2. I would like the chm to pick up the XYZ Screen txt and not Fig 2.

I'm not sure this can be done. I think you are going to end up manually changing the figure captions. Sorry!
