Template Heading

I have a template for topics and a template for popups. Heading 1 is the same for both, except for the color of the type. I have double-checked my templates to ensure that the proper color is there.

For some reason, though, some of the topic headings or popup heading will revert to one or the other (blue or maroon). To correct this, I have to highlight a heading and update the css.

What am I doing wrong here?

It could be you are doing nothing wrong whatsoever. Maybe you have some embedded or inline styles that are overriding what the linked style sheet is specifying?
