Trying to generate FAQ microcontent to Sharepoint

Hi All,

I am generating a frameless output with an FAQ microcontent to Sharepoint but cannot open the FAQ page from Sharepoint.

The main page works and I can even search for the FAQ intent and answers in the search box, however, the actual FAQ page does not load. I get an error message that the website is unavailable - for example it says the FAQ_Jaggaer_Online.aspx file is not available.

When I search in the actual sharepoint folder there is no aspx file for the FAQ microcontent.

If I simply click on the FAQ_Jaggaer_Online.htm file in Windows explorer it works fine. The issue seems to be with opening the site from sharepoint.

I have attached some screenshots of the sharepoint folder structure & files.

Please help!

Thanks,

Felix

Did it work locally and have you followed the instructions in the About RoboHelp sample project? If yes to both, then this is new stuff so not too much expertise around yet. If no one comes along with an answer, try Support. See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. The email link tcssup@adobe.com is recommended as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.

I followed the steps on the sample project "Compass Travel".

On my local drive it works without any issues but as soon as it is published to Sharepoint the same error occurs.

See if this helps. RH2020 Microcontent (grainge.org)

I'm not sure it will as your output is working locally. I assume you have checked everything in the local output is on Sharepoint.

My output is working locally aswell as on sharepoint. The frameless output exports to the local folder and directly to the sharepoint folder (see below).

The references to the FAQ search for the FAQ file *.aspx which Robohelp does not generate.

Adobe support has not gotten back to me since I logged my query 2 weeks ago.

What happens if you try publishing to SharePoint? My understanding is that creating SP output results in a pile of .aspx files & no .htm ones (but I could be wrong about that). Did you e-mail the RH folks? And btw, what's your RH version & is it all patched up?

So the RH team contacted me. Apparently it is supposed to export aspx files in the SP output but it doesn't - even with the newest Update 6.

They will discuss with the product team and get back to me.
