Unable to upgrade to X5.0.2

I am currently using Robohelp for Word v5.0.1 Build 606. I have downloaded rho13_x502.zip to upgrade to 5.0.2 but when I unzip the file it creates a strange folder structure "\Documents and Settings\ataylor\My Documents\sites\download\robohelp" and when I run the RHO13_X502.exe file it fails when it gets to the point of copying new files with the following error message:

Unable to locate file C:\DOCUME~1\tonyc\LOCALS~1\Temp\_is85\Robohelp Office X5.0.2 Update.msi

I have contacted Technical Support but they have told me that it works fine when they run it. I cannot understand why any download would create such a strange folder structure when unzipped and I have never experienced anything like this when I have downloaded upgrades for any other product.

Perhaps the first thing would be to check out the blurb for that upgrade. I believe it only updates RH HTML as I have applied that patch but my RH for Word still shows Build 606.

Somewhere you have the download. Put it in a new folder called C:\Tony or whatever you want.. Then use Winzip's extract tool. What do you get at that point?

This hasn't been reported before so I suspect it is just a simple flaw somewhere in the process.

I copied it to a new folder and extracted the file, but it still fails at the point when it is copying new files. I was trying to run the update to see if it fixes a problem I have experienced when I am trying to produce printed documentation and winhelp 2000. Sometimes if I change text in my project it is ignoring the build tags when I produce the manual or help. It is a problem that I have experienced on a number of occasions and sometimes it is fixed if I copy the text into a text file and paste it back in to the document, but this is very time consuming.

When you refer to copying new files, do you mean as the zip file is extracted or after it has been extracted and you are trying to run it.

How exactly are you extracting this file? Are you using WinZip and clicking Extract?

We could just think about the real problem but has any extract got as far as installing some files that might affect your installation?

When you are changing the text, do you have hidden text displayed? I don't use RH for Word any more but wondering if somehow you are interfering with the hidden text it uses when you do your editing.
