Undefined in search results

I've been using Robohelp 8 since it first came out and have not had any issues with search results displaying properly. For this help file, we were not using Indexing, but I wanted to test to see what would happen if indexing. I ran the index wizard and was satisfied with the keywords. I decided to search my documents to see what would happen and as you can see by the image below that the word "undefined" displays in the compiled flashhelp.

I thought indexing may have done something to break whatever is supposed to be displaying, so I complied the flashhelp without including Indexing, ran the search again without doing anything else, except removing "index" from the compiled flashhelp file, here is the results.

undefined2.jpg

The search feature was working fine before indexing, so I removed all of the indexing references and compiled the flashhelp file again, ran the same search and undefined returned.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? I have baggage files (all imported).

Thanks!

Mimi

I don't have an answer but I notice you are generating to a D drive. If that is on your local drive that is OK but I also notice it is written as /D: etc in the error message. That doesn't look right.

Do you have both patches applied? Any broken links? Any clues by looking at the Topic List? Have you tried deleting the CPD file and reopening the project?

Hi!

I have all patches. The project is located on my D drive, I am not publishing to D drive. I am not publishing any where. I am uploading files to the intranet myself. I have not tried removing the CPD file, but I will.

Here is the publish settings:

I deleted the CPD file and it seems to have cleared up the undefined references. Though it is not searching external pdf files that are part of the baggage. That's fine with me.

Thank you for your help!
