I've been asked to provide upgrade instructions from RoboServer 8 to RoboServer 9 for my IT department. Adobe has instructions for installing RoboServer 9 fresh, but I can only find this one topic on migrating data:
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/RoboHelp/9.0/RoboEngine/WSbe3e657580667f14-a060fa912c5da67e0a-8000.html. Is it as simple as uninstalling v8, installing v9 fresh, then migrating the data? Any tips or documented steps would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Check Colum’s website – robocolumn.com ?

I looked there, and he only makes reference to the migration steps. If that's the only caveat, perhaps I'm searching too hard...

What about posting in the RoboServer forum?

Hi. You only need to install the RoboHelp Server 9 application. The migration utility I mention on my site is just a way of geting the data from your RoboHelp Server 8 installation into the new version. The beauty of this is that it doesn't matter if you have removed the RoboHelp Server 9 application first as the usage data remains.

I meant to add that you the RoboHelp Server 9 Reviewers Guide is well worth reading. You can find it here:
