Web Help is slow...Any thoughts on the cause?

Launching Web Help (CSH with map ID's) is somewhat slow on our system.  We've tried this on different users' computers with the same result.  There seems to be a lag from the time you press F1, to when the help screen pops up.  Once the screen is up, navigating to different sections of the documentation through the "Contents" menu seems to be fine though.

We're using Robohelp 9, and generating WebHelp.

Hi,

When the WebHelp is loaded, the WebHelp loads quite a few resources. Have you optimized your output for viewing via a server? Check your SSL properties. Yuou can choose to optimize speed for Web sites or local pc's/intranet.

Another thought: WebHelp is loaded in the browser. Can it be that starting the browser causes this lag?

I tried optimizing the speed for "Local PC or Intranet" (my projects were all generated with the Web Site optimization previously), but to no avail.  I'm still seeing a lag.  It was worth a shot though.  Thanks for the response, William!
