Can someone tell me what this bar is in the HTML help generated file?
I want to get rid of it!

Welcome to the forum.

It is the browse sequence. You can turn it off in the wizard when you compille the help. Most regard it as a useful way of showing the user the sequence for viewing certain topics. You or a predecessor have set up the browse sequence so someone must have thought it was needed in your company.

As Peter indicated, it's a Browse Sequence. But to get rid of it, you have to edit the Window definition of your project.

I'm not sure what version of RoboHelp you are using, so I'll provide detail for the last two.

For RoboHelp 7, click View > Pods > Project Set-up and expand the Windows pseudo folder
For RoboHelp 6, click View > Pane > Project and expand the Windows pseudo folder

Double click the window for your project and DE-select the "Browse Sequences" check box.

I found the option for the browse sequence setting, thanks for the suggestions :)
Here's the weird thing: in RoboHelp for Word, I remove the option for browse sequence, Generate HTML Help, but the bar still appears up top.
I load/convert the project within RoboHelp HTML, check the option is off, generate HTML Help, and the bar is gone.

Why would the RoboHelp Word version not remove that bar?
Quite puzzling.
