I am following the instructions for Collaborate using SharePoint Online, and I've gotten stuck. (Note: I am using RH 2022.0.346 on a Windows machine. I am a relative newbie to both RoboHelp and SharePoint).
1. I created a connection profile to my SharePoint site, and it succeeded.
2. In SharePoint Online I created a new folder in which I will add the current project.
3. I tried to add my project.
4. The instructions say that at this point I should be able to select a SharePoint Online connection profile. But instead, I get this blank window.
Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance!
It turns out I was able to just click on Select on that blank screen, and the process moved forward from there. So I think that solved the problem?

Unfortunately not many of us here know much about SP. All I can suggest is updating to Patch 2 (current version in June 2023) & see if that makes any difference. If not, then you need to talk with the RH folks - see https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. I'd recommend using the tcssup@adobe.com e-mail address as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.

Why do the experts around here not use SharePoint? Is there a reason to avoid SharePoint? I chose it over Git bc I thought it would be more user-friendly to non-developers...

Mainly because we're all "old-school" and didn't/don't need version control or collaboration with other authors in our usage of RH.

Hey, nothing wrong with old school! In my instance, I really might not need collaboration between authors either. I have people who want to use RoboHelp to store and distribute policy documents, and they mainly want to be able to:
Am I right that version control is what we want?

Not sure - RH is an authoring tool - SP in that context helps control who's got what topic checked out to be worked on because only one person at a time can edit the topic. SP can also be used as a published output location for consumption by audiences.

I have studiously avoided any source control, not just Sharepoint. Follow the forums for many years and you will see why. My own method was zip up daily and put that on the network. However, that's because only one person would be working on any one project at any one time.
