Where is the text from drop down hotspots?

I'm creating a new help project and would like to use drop down hotspots. We have our documentation translated into multiple languages, and generally send the html files to the translators. I'm guessing I'll have to send the drop down text separately, but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where the actual text that goes into the hotspots is stored?

They are in the html file, look near the top in the true code view.
