Why aren't all of our styles, from an imported style sheet showing up in the Style box?

We imported a style sheet and not all our styles are showing up in the style box to select them.  We are using Robohelp html 7. When we go into the style box we see them under the "other" category but can't seem to get them in the style box.  Any help will be appreciated.

Is the difference that those that show are paragraph styles and those that do not are character styles?

They do show up under "other" when we go to edit the styles.  But they are not available to apply them to the text.

You said that in your first post but that doesn't answer my question.

Can you post the CSS for one or two styles that do not show up?
