Browse sequences show in html help but not web help, web help pro, flash help, or flash help pro. What do I need to to.
Does it have anything to do with the "Publish" item being greyed out in my single source
items?

These forms of help do not show the browse sequence in the same way as CHMs. Take a look at the page below.

Wow! Thank you.
I did not expect such a prompt reply with the help I needed.
I had seen the "forward" and "back" browse buttons but did not
realize that they were them!
I thought they were redundant duplicates of the browser back and
forward buttons.
I am disappointed that the web help display doesn't allow me to
display the various "browse sequences" that have been set up.
Also, you never know you have landed on a browse sequence topic
because the buttons are not visibly different when active or inactive.
And you cannot select a Subject (topic theme) and browse the other
topics in that sequence. In the chum, this was a drop down list of
the available browse sequences that you could examine. And you could
see a display of where in the sequence you were. Can web help make
anything like that or do I need to be creative and make a browse
sequence category in the TOC myself? That's my only idea.
If my reply is being read, thank you very much.
I have other concerns that I can't find answers to about the RoboHelp
server. What is it? What would I need it for? Do I have it and
not know it? Is it different software?
It doesn't seem to be required to distribute a webhelp system.
I have people use a link to our web server and start on a particular
page. All other pages are accessible but I can't "publish" to a
server. I'm not sure how to do it or why.
Thanks.

If that is what you want, you should wish for it. The more people who request a feature, the more likely it is to be actioned. Please follow this link.

The rest of your post would be better in a new thread in the appropriate category. See "Which category should I post in?"
