Why do my expanding hotspots change color when I generate?

I am seeing a new symptom related to expanding hotspots in my output. Today in my generated help systems only, expanding hotspots changed from the default italicized dark red hotspot/medium blue text to non-italicized medium blue hotspot/black text. I tried editing the project settings Character style 'Expanding hotspot' to green, but it did not work in the Design or Project Manager views or in output. Only in the Design and Project Manager views do I get the default italicized dark red hotspot/medium blue text. I have repeatedly tried changing the Character style back and forth, but it's not having any effect.

The formatting of expanding hotspots and expanding text aren't controlled by Expanding Hotspots and Expanding Text character formats, but rather Glossary Term and Glossary Text. I think this is a bug and have reported it.
