Why does RoboHelp 9.0.023 insert unwanted double quotes in the chm file?

RoboHelp for Word inserts double quotes at the end of a topic that has conditional text, I do not see the quotes in the Word document, but the quotes are present in the CHM file.

Using Windows 7, RoboHelp v9.0.023 and Microsoft Office Word 2007.

Look in the HTML code to see if something is there. Often we can't "see" something in the WYSIWYG display but it turns up in the code.
