Will flex web apps work on a computer without internet access?

We have developed a FLEX web app that uses resources on the intranet ( back end servers located inside our company). The PC on which we are running the FLEX app has accesss to intranet but does NOT have access to internet.

The FLEX application is failing with 2032 error.

My Question:

Does FLEX app need to access internet? Can't a FLEX app run on a PC that does not have internet access?

provided that the back-end server is available on the INTRANET (inside the company).
