Winhelp generation

hello,

I am using the trial version of robohelp right now, my question is how can I get Winhelp output, I am able to generate the other types of output such as Microsoft HTML, Web help, Flash help, etc but Win help is not listed with the outputs list.

Hi ahlam323

Sounds like you may be using RoboHelp HTML? If so, you can't produce WinHelp from that particular "RoboFlavor". You will need to switch over to RoboHelp for Word if WinHelp is your desired output.

If that's truly your goal, you will need to create a Word document (Printed Output) from each of them.

Out of curiosity, why are you moving to WinHelp? Microsoft is trying very hard to get folks to move away from the WinHelp format.

I will tell why,

the software I am developing is window based made using Oracle Forms 9i, so my goal is to apply Context sensitive concept in the software.

I read an article that says who this can be done if the help file is win help.

I am still searching for new information because for me I liked the RoboHelp HTML help more than the Robo Help for Word.

I will Appreciate it if you could help me with more information.

Do you mean context sensitive help or What's This help?

You can use a CHM output or webhelp to provide CSH. How to call webhelp in that way is described on my site. For CHM help, look at the RoboHelp help.
