Word Output Templates

Hi, I am wanting to have a nicely formatted output in Word. I have looked at both the online help and Peter's site for guidance and am still struggling with this.

I want to have a set of topics that will end up online and in a printed manual. However, I also want to be able to output a specific topic as a stand-alone document with a different appearance.

For example, if I were creating a book of recipes then I would expect pages of recipes. However, if I also wanted the option to generate a document with just one recipe, then I want the page to look different. The single recipe would have a flyer type of appearance vs a page in a book appearance of that same recipe in the full book output.

Is this possible and where would I start?

Another idea I have wondered about is having the ability to print a topic from one of the other online outputs and have that output printed with additional print-only content such as a different header style, the addition of a logo, etc. for that specific topic print-out.

Please always start threads with your version of RoboHelp. In this case I do know you are on 2020 but I can't always remember who is on what version and others will not know.

When you generate any output you have to specify a TOC. Only the topics (recipes) in the TOC get generated so you have one TOC with all recipes and others for the individual recipes. In each you would use different master pages linked to different CSS files to get the different appearance you want.

It could also be done with condition tags and expressions but I think the TOC approach is simpler.
