working with project files stored on server

I'm usnig RH6. Is there an issue with running RH6 locally, but working with the project files stored on a server. I wasn't sure if there would be an issue with compiling the project when they are on the server.

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim

No RoboHelp version before Adobe RoboHelp 10 (the current version) is supported in any way with working project files on a server. If you want to ensure that your work is as pain and woe free as possible, you need to work with your project on your local hard drive. That also applies to the output location. Keep it all local. Then, once your output has been created, copy it to any server you wish. That's what the Publish bit is for.

Cheers... Rick
