I have an issue (that I know is a known issue with almost all online help software), after generating and publishing new topics or updated content, the new pages or updated information does not always appear. If I clear cashe and refresh this usually helps; however this is extremely annoying for customers (who are not aware of this issue). Is there a workaround for this, or some type of fix I am not aware of?

I have RoboHelp 11, PC, Windows 10 and use Chrome for viewing the help site.

In this case you can send no-cache headers to browsers as to avoid caching your content. You can do this through the server by sending a no cache header (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/49547/making-sure-a-web-page-is-not-cached-across-all-browsers) or by adding a meta tag to your output (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1341089/using-meta-tags-to-turn-off-caching-in-all-browsers)

The downside is that the browser will never cache (or for shorter periods) so slower help for your readers and more load on your server. Whether that's worth it, is up to you.

Thanks William. I forwarded this to our IT guy who wants to test it first. Appreciate the quick reply.
