Hello,

Using RH 2017 I've created a master project for a Responsive HTML5 project and import the FrameMaker 2017 book. The FM styles are mapped to the RH styles. For 2 of the FM books, I get this error several times. It seems to include all the chapters of the book, but I's love to know what's causing the error so I can fix it. Has anyone else encountered this error message?

Thanks!

Dale

I found this thread from a couple of years ago and moving to your local drive seemed to fix it before?

An error occurred while trying to save data to RH2017 FPJ file <5>.

Hi Amebr....

That previous question was mine. I was hoping that maybe someone had discovered what the <5> error number was since the last one. I was unable to find the previous message I wrote... but I forgot we had moved it to the FM integration thread. The suggestions in that thread to moving local work but not always.

Thank you all for your suggestions and ideas.

Newer versions of RH are able to work on network drives, but not all network drives are equal. Best practices is still to keep the RH project local in a c:\projects\project_name\ structure and then store backups on networked drives.
