With Robohelp 11 we want to remove the sidebar with the TOC completely - or at the very least suppress it in the wide version so that it is not visible on first load. How do we do this? Struggling to get an elegant responsive help site out of robohelp...

If you call WebHelp using the start page, it will open with the TOC, toolbar and default topic. If you just call the default topic you should get just that. Unless you have turned off the Show option, users can then click that and access the TOC.

There's more in Calling WebHelp on my site and Willam van Weelden has more on his site. http://www.wvanweelden.eu.

For the HTML5, you have to update the CSS. To get an idea of what is involved, please see my webinar: Recording of Beyond the Wizard: Editing HTML5 layouts in RoboHelp 11 | WvanWeelden.eu

I see Willam has provided a response. But what we don't know for certain at the moment is what the output actually is you are producing. Is it Responsive HTML 5 or is it WebHelp?

Cheers... Rick
