Javahelp displays bugged search result highlights

Hi all,

we use Robohelp 2015 to generate uncompressed Javahelp 2.0.

When you use the full text search, the help viewer displays the found topics and tries to highlight the searched term. However, the highlights are bugged and do not match the searched term. It seems there is a problem with the generation of the search data base.

Is there any way to fix this?

JavaHelp has pretty much fallen into disuse. Flare didn't support it from the beginning mainly because JavaHelp itself wasn't being supported. The latest version of RoboHelp doesn't support it. The only things I can suggest are:-

  1. Try deleting the CPD file and reopening the project.
  2. Try creating a new output layout.
  3. Look in the archived Other Single Source Layouts forum.

Is there a reason for sticking with this output?

Thanks for the suggestions, using Javahelp is a customer requirement here (I agree that moving to HTML would be so much better). I am also checking with different JDK versions, I'll post it if I find a solution.
