RH2019.0.10, new UI.

  1. Create a bookmark with the bookmark icon.
  2. Save the topic, so the bookmark becomes available in the contents section.
  3. Link to the bookmark within the same topic (drag it from the contents into the topic).
  4. Save the topic again.
  5. Double-click on te bookmark and change its name.
  6. Save the topic.
  7. Examine the link with ctrl-k. This link still uses the first name of the bookmark, and now is a broken link as a result. I don't mean the display text, that shouldn't change. But the link itself links to the old bookmark as well.

Anyone else can confirm this? Will bookmark links also break when a topic is moved to another folder within the UI?

I can't actually tell what topic or bookmark I've linked to using the dialog box, but hovering over I can confirm the bookmark doesn't change. However, I can also confirm this behaviour has always* been the case (tested in RH11).

It would be nice if within-topic links got updated, at least.

*RH11 counts as "always", yeah? 🙂
