Hello,
I have a project I'm working on right now where I created Printed Document output as Word document. I'm manually fixing styles and formatting. I'm trying to add a .05" inner margin on the left margin of every cell in each table. I'm following these steps:
Select the table.
On the Layout ribbon, click on Properties
in the Table Properties window, click Options
change the left margin to 0.05"
Click OK
Somewhere in this procedure, for the last 10 attempts this process has crashed Word, requiring shutting down the program and re-opening and dealing with Recovered documents. This is not the first time this has happened to me. Almost consistently when working in table formatting in a Word document created by RoboHelp for Printed Document output, I run into this.
Any thoughts or solutions? If not, I'm going to be bald before this project is done!
Thanks,
MDawn

Maybe the answer at Cell spacing in Adobe RoboHelp 2015 will help.

Your answer was helpful! Thanks. I got so frustrated with this problem, I called RoboHelp Tech Support yesterday afternoon. Their solution was to create the Word document from my RoboHelp project as .docx, I had been using .doc. So far, that has corrected the issue.
Also, I was able to get the cell padding set in my tables in RoboHelp, so that's helping as well and means less time working on formatting in the Word document.
Thanks again,
