Hello there,

We have two RH projects that are we are currently testing to publish to a new server.  Each project has a different IP address.

One project is successfully published but the other isn't.

I have tried publishing the project that works to both IP addresses and they were both successful.

I am lost as to what could be wrong with a project isn't publishing.  Are there any suggestions that I can try to get this one project to publish?

Hi, you sneaked in an important piece of info - WebHelp Pro . Are you using RoboHelp Server 9? (For that matter, which version of Rh client are you using.)

As you may know, WebHelp is for publishing to "regular" servers. Whereas WebHelp Pro requires and assumes that you are publishing to a web server that has Adobe RoboHelp Server installed.

So, if you are indeed using Rh Server, then go to the Windows Properties from the Output Setup pod and create a new window for WebHelp Pro. Give it a name su

This is actually a current project that we have been publishing for a long time.  It has just started causing problems.

We do have permissions.

For some reason the Default Window will not allow me to place anything in the drop down menu in the options for webhelp pro.  would this have anything to do with not being able to publish

So, if you are indeed using Rh Server, then go to the Windows Properties from the Output Setup pod and create a new window for WebHelp Pro. Give it a name such as "RhServer".

Then when you publish to the Rh Server, be sure to select RhServer as the default window.

Then you will want to create a new destination in the Publishing wizard for WebHelp Pro. Enter the credentials for your new server and see if that helps.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the help, all went well.  It also helps when the IT department communicates a recent password change for the new staging server.
