Any points to be considered when we migrate from traditional Web Help to responsive Layout?

We also have existing context-sensitive topic calls. Map IDs have been assigned to the topics in RH 2017.

Any pointers on how the developers can update their code to make way for Responsive layout?

There is some information on my site at Calling WebHelp Topics and a link to Willam van Weelden's that should help with your question.
