Search results not displaying.

whfhost.js not being generated.

If I copy and paste a backup copy of whfhost.js Search results display.

That's an old version and I would expect any webhelp generated from it to have issues with modern browsers. However, if it is otherwise working for you, so be it.

I don't recall that being an issue but you can see a list of the various issues fixed in the 2015 updates here.

I don't have a fix other than to continue doing what you are. Sorry.

We are getting ready to upgrade but won't be happening soon enough.

Could you tell me what file generates the whfhost.js?

It's generated as part of the output generation. In other words by the program.
