Hello, everyone.

I am trying to embed a Youtube video in one of the topics of my CHM file.

It was working perfectly so far, but now it displays a script error everytime I open it.

I am using Robohelp 9 and I want to export it using Microsoft HTML Help (CHM file).

Below, you'll find the message displayed:

CHM file - script error.PNG

I don't know how to solve it, because I cannot upload videos directly to the topic (company rules), I have to embed all of them. I also don't know what this URL is referring to.

I will be glad if you can help me to solve it. Thanks in advance!

The error comes from youtube (ytimg.com) and it seems YouTube is at fault. Can you include an iFrame to the entire youtube page instead of using the YouTube embed code?

Hi there

It might help if you were able to share exactly how you added it to the topic.

Cheers... Rick

Hi, Rick.

I copied the embed code from the embed tab, on our Youtube video.

Then, I pasted it into the topic, on HTML window.

The most weird is that it have been working for 4 weeks. I was able to generate the CHM and play it then.

Now I am not able anymore, because this script error is displayed.

I hope I was clear in my explanation. Thanks!

Hi there

So have you tried simply repeating the process? Just delete what is there, copy the embed code again, then paste into the topic.

Sounds like something may have become munged.

Cheers... Rick

Willam, you were right. I've tried it using another embed code and then I've got it.

Thank you all!
