Should Previous Topic and Next Topic buttons work throughout an entire TOC or just within a book?

Hi all,

I have a webhelp project with multiple books and do have browse sequences.  The Previous Topic and Next Topic buttons seem to only work with a single book.  Is that how it's supposed to work?  And if so, is there a way to make it work for the entire TOC through all the books?  Using RH 2011.

Thanks for any help.

Diane

Hi there

What you have to do is create a single large sequence that traverses all topics in the TOC. Exactly how you do this depends on your RoboHelp version. For example, if you are using version 10 and earlier, choose the auto create option and enter 0 for the number of levels.

If it's version 11 or 2015 Release, there's a nice option provided.
