unable to view created topics from the project file pod

Has anyone experienced "losing" files from the Project Files view? I created and saved new topics and then they dissapeared. I can see the files from the explore view, but I am unable to view or edit the file. They do not displays in the Project Files navigation tree. 

Any help would be appreciated. I am concerned that the project may have corruption as it is very large and has been converted may times for different versions of RH.

What version of RH are you running? Classic or New UI (RH2019)? If you're working in a Classic version, have you tried deleting the .cpd file?
