Why can't Robohelp load the .cpd file?

I'm using Robohelp 10 and when I try to load my project file, I get the following message:

"Open project was cancelled or the application was unable to load database for ....it then gives the path to my help folder and the .cpd file"

I deleted the.cpd file and the system regenerated another one, but I keep getting the same message.

Any thoughts.

Thanks for your reply. It’s pathed to  a network folder on my c: drive  which contains the Robohelp project file. I don’t
want to publish the names of the folders in the path for confidentiality reasons. The project is  linked to TFS\SourceSafe

Make sure the cpd file isn't stored in TFS. This can cause all sorts of weird problems. (The ldb and pss files also should not be in source control.)
