Editable text files not working

I just downloaded some editable text effect files for Illustrator.  Most of them work easily with me just highlighting with the text tool and retyping my text.   But this doesnt work that way.  It wont let me highlight text and then when I click update text it only does the top layer.

Can anyone look at this file and tell me if I'm doing something wrong or it's set up incorrectly?  Thanks!!!

I'm not on a PC currently, so I can't check. Check if the text is really text or just outlined text. I suppose that @Contributor1 can take care of the asset to check, if it should be taken down.

Hello @Anita1313, I see the issue you're referencing. When opening the vector it mentioned it needed to update from the legacy text from an older version of Illustrator which might have caused this issue. Possibly ungrouping the current layers and regrouping the layers per letter as you would have expected this to function might get it working again. I'll send these details to be reviewed internally.
