Why do Adobe Stock purchases still have watermark?

I have found Adobe's implemention of purchasing Adobe Stock video clips inside of Premiere frustrating. For example, today I purchased 3 clips within Premiere and no matter what I have done the clips still have watermarks. In the bin where the clips reside the shopping cart icons in front of the clips are gone. I have deleted render files many times over. Quit and restarted etc. Clips still have the watermark when I preview the timeline.

Did you try to download the asset from the web?

Go to https://stock.adobe.com/Dashboard/LicenseHistory and use the download option on your asset.

Then replace the placeholder in Premiere with the new file. Does that help?

(I know, it introduces additional manual steps, and it's not ideal, but to nail the issue down, it could be of help)

Abambo, manually downloading is my plan B for sure. Doing it that way wastes a lot of time compared to purchasing in Premiere or After Effects when it works. Would like for Adobe to focus on existing features and work the bugs out versus pushing the AI fantasy. Thanks.
