Hello Adobe Stock Team and Community,
I’m reaching out for clarification and support regarding my contributor account, which was recently blocked for violating Generative AI content requirements. I believe this happened due to a misunderstanding, so I’d like to explain the situation clearly.
About a week ago, I submitted a UI animation titled “Generating Button” — it was a short loading/progress animation designed entirely in Adobe After Effects, created from scratch using shape layers and keyframes. The concept was inspired by the loading buttons that appear in many AI image-generation tools, which is why I included the keywords “AI” and “Artificial Intelligence” in the title and tags.
Initially, the video was rejected with the note that it was “AI generated.” To clarify the context, I resubmitted the same animation but properly labeled it as AI-generated, assuming that might have been the issue — and it was accepted afterward. However, a few days later, my account was suddenly suspended for violating the Generative AI content policy.
I want to emphasize that:
The animation was not created with any AI tool, but made fully in Adobe After Effects.
I have the original project files and proof of manual creation.
I have never uploaded any actual AI-generated images or videos to my portfolio.
It seems the system or internal review might have misinterpreted my submission as AI-generated content because of the keywords or theme.
I would really appreciate guidance on how I can appeal this decision or provide my project files to prove that the content was fully original. My account had consistent, legitimate uploads, and I’ve always tried to follow Adobe’s contributor guidelines.
Thank you very much for your time and understanding. I’m happy to share any evidence or project files if it helps clarify the situation.
Best regards,
Uzair Ali
