AI Art Review Process

File process review process literally changed overnight. Typically my files were reviewed and approved within a few days. Contact support and I'm told it will now take up to 2 months.

For the record I've had sales. I can only surmise there have been issues and now Adobe is slowing acceptance due to the hassle and discouraging ai contributors.

I have since gone elsewhere to do business.

Welcome to the Community Forum; looks like your first time here. While you're here, take time to peruse other recent posts and you'll learn that review delay is a frequent topic of discussion. Due to the huge influx of Generative AI assets, many from Contributors who have uploaded hundreds, or even thousands, at a time, the queue has grown dramatically. You can expect to wait 1-2 months, perhaps longer, as the Moderators work through this massive backlog. Adobe hasn't slowed acceptance, though they have now limited the number of assets that can be under review on a Contributor account.

There's nothing you can do to hasten the process. Be patient.

Review times vary depending on how many assets are ahead of yours in the wait queue.  That's all.

Adobe isn't discouraging AI, there's just way too much of it.  Some contributors submit 400 AI images at once which makes the review process painfully slow for everyone.  😞

At any rate, good luck finding other services to accept your Generative AI artwork.  Getty, Shutterstock and others don't  accept AI. 😉

By @Silver Hart

Conspiracy theories are spreading best, it seems.

The process of review did not change, but where people submitted at the time between 2 and 20 pictures in a row, generative art submitters submit thousands of pictures. This massive increase in submission numbers did create a backlog, and Adobe is still working on this.

Adobe is not slowing down the acceptance, they are accepting at the same pace as always. But when you moderate 100,000 assets a day and contributors add 150,000 assets, you create a backlog. It's probably more logical than your abstruse theory.

Don't worry, be happy.
