Any reasons why my mandala photo was rejected?

Hello, I'm new to Adobe Stock. A few days ago, I've uploaded a specific photo of a mandala pattern that's on fabric. I'd like to know why it's been rejected, and would love to have tips on how to improve on that problem.

Hello, mhcoolstuff, Unless you created this mandala, you do not have the copyright or the freedom to use it as you please, including selling it on Adobe Stock. If you did create it then you must send Adobe a property release on it. Perhaps you should read the guidelines from Adobe for stock contributors like you. Here are a few links FYI. Best regards, JH

Thank you for the input! I've learned something today, so hopefully I'll submit a more personal image in the future.

You should tell us always the rejection reason. But joanh22203655 pointed out the most probable. However, looking at the picture I could also select artifacts or commercial appeal. And I have‘nt looked in detail your picture.

I believe it was rejected due to "artifacts," but thanks!

The image was rejected for "Artifacts" which can mean any number of things including excessive noise. In my opinion the image could have been rejected for a couple of different reasons. The primary issue is the lighting. It appears you used a direct flash that created some uneven and unflattering light. What was noted as artifacts is likely the texture of the fabric which stands out with harsh light scenario. I don't see a lot of potential for this one I'm afraid.

Don't let the first rejection discourage you from continuing to try. It takes time but with practice you'll get a feel for what sells.

I wish you the best of luck with your future uploads.

Thanks for the help! I did notice how bright the photo looked when I've uploaded, so I'll learn from that.
