Ask about the waiting time for reviewing photographs (more than 10 days waiting

Community Beginner ,

I know this topic has been widely discussed in the community, but each situation is unique.

I uploaded my photographs for review 10 days ago, and while it's mentioned that the review time is usually shorter, I'm wondering how many days are considered within the normal waiting period. When should I start to be concerned and perhaps seek support if the wait continues?

I understand that the review process depends on various factors such as workload, staff availability, holidays, or vacation periods, among others.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance on this matter.

Reviews can take as long as 2 months if you are new to Adobe Stock. After your first set of images are reviewed, they will be reviewed on a more regular basis, even daily. The best thing to do in the mean time is to work on more assets so that you have them at the ready. You should upload a few assets daily if you can.

10 working days isn't enough time.

  • 1 - 3 months is the average.
  • It depends on how many other assets were ahead of yours in the wait queue.
  • Stock receives hundreds to thousands of submissions per week and more during peek holiday seasons.
  • You can expect to wait as long as it takes.
  • Work on other projects.

Photographs can take up to 3-4 weeks, and illustrations, including generative AI can take 2 months or longer. It's a very volatile situation, so no one can provide precise predictions, not even Adobe. What asset type did you submit ?

I have been sending content for more than 2 years (around 100 photos and videos already approved in my account). After 2 months, could the waiting time be considered abnormal?

Like @Nancy OShea already mentioned, in general assets are taking 1-3 months on average.  I haven't heard of anything taking more than 4 months yet, so if you start to get into that range feel free to check back in 🙂.

But anything under 3 months and I wouldn't be too concerned.  The US just had a big holiday, and I'm sure there are a lot of pending assets for the Christmas/New Year holiday as well.

Cheers!

Where is it mentioned that the review time is shorter? Currently, Adobe tells you that the waiting time is 4 weeks (and experience tells us that for the moment, this could be up to two months after submission).
