1. Don't submit b&w, Adobe forbid it. Looks nice, but no go.

Read this Help page which specifically says

Don’t: Convert your image to black & white or duotone. Buyers want the maximum flexibility provided by the full color image.

I've had numerous b&w images acceoted, perhaps because the subject matter was appropriate for b&w. There are other issues involved here. Maybe the subject matter wasn't considered commercially viable.

However, it does seem that some B&W "conversions" slip through anyway... That is not to say that there shouldn't be any B&W images in Adobe Stock. There are many graphic designs specifically designed as monochrome.

I don't convert. They were b&w to begin with.

Here's an example. This wouldn't work as well in color. A change in style, no matter how slight, is a change in meaning, no matter how slight.

I wouldn't necessarily say Adobe Stock forbids B&W.  But they don't encourage it.

Customers can easily convert to grayscale (B&W) after purchase if needed. However, it's not so easy to convert B&W to color. You'll reach a much wider base of potential buyers with full color than you will with B&W.

Nice black and white, but stock does not like black and white because the customer can easily convert from colour to black and white, but getting the colours back is impossible.
